The register accessible through the link below contains only that portion of the records fully processed and available to researchers. Other sections of the collection are also accessible through preliminary guides not posted. Please contact the Archives staff for further information.
The RFE/RL records have been processed as two separate collections:
The Corporate Records contain administrative documentation, policy materials, and other matter relating to the functioning of the organization as a corporate entity.
The Broadcast Archive contains the scripts and tapes of the various broadcast departments and language services, in addition to research files, news wires, and other writings and collected materials used in the preparation of broadcasts.
The Polish Broadcast Archive Database is being created by the Polish State Archives as part of a joint project with the Hoover Institution Archives, funded by a generous grant from the Taube Family Foundation (click here for more information). It contains approximately 15,000 records covering almost the entire Polish tape collection, and a significant portion of the scripts. The searchable interface makes it possible to find programs by title, subject, and keyword.
Other collections at the Hoover Archives, such as the personal papers of some former RFE/RL employees, also contain information relating to RFE/RL. Brief descriptions of these collections have been compiled in a subject guide.
