Year

This database covers tapes and scripts produced between 1952 and 1987.

As part of a joint cooperative project between the Hoover Institution and the Polish State Archives, this computer-based index to the RFE Polish Language Service broadcast archive has been created by the Polish State Archives based on their copies of the tapes and scripts. This database contains records for all preserved tapes of the Polish broadcast department, as well as some accompanying scripts. The bulk of the program scrips from 1952-1987 are only now being indexed and will be added to this database periodically. Upon completion of the indexing project (2007), the database will contain records of all preserved Polish tapes and scripts. At present, the database is current as of May 2004.
